We Belong to the Wild.

I hold a Master of Arts degree in Psychology and a Master of Fine Arts in Creative Writing and am currently completing a Doctor of Psychology (PsyD) at Pacifica Graduate Institute. I am a published author, and my book, The Other Side of the River is available through Womancraft Publishing and Red Wheel Press. My areas of expertise include Somatics, Depth and Eco-psychology, and I specialize in helping individuals navigate life transitions, heal family systems and trauma, cope with depression, anxiety, and unresolved attachment patterns.

I also support a systemic understanding of the world we live in that includes cultural sensitivity, awareness and inclusivity around sub-cultures and embraces diversity, and supports deeply transformative work in intimate relationships, couples, and parenting issues, as well as exploring women's unique psychology and needs, and managing the compound stress we carry as a result of our culture’s modern lifestyle.

I have been guided by a lidless curiosity to live, work, participate and study ceremony and plant medicine all over the world (including in Colombia, Barcelona, and Vancouver), and have 20 years of experience teaching, writing, mentoring, and facilitating ceremony. I am drawn to a profound way of listening and pattern recognition that is grounded in application and attuned to each individual’s unique situation and life circumstances.

I am trained in several therapeutic modalities, including mindfulness and somatic based therapy, evidence-based treatments, psycho-analytic and psychodynamic therapy, trauma-informed therapy, supporting medicine journeys and psychedelic integration work, holistic mentoring and women’s circles.

My doctoral research explores initiation and rites of passage and plant medicine ceremonies for young women. I have been drawn to this work as a highly attuned woman and mother who is dedicated to creating a regenerative and reanimated world for my children and future generations. I believe that systemic change comes from individuals dedicated to their own work and aware of their impact on the greater whole. I am a kind, compassionate, insightful and delightfully complex individual who recognizes that the collective cure comes from reconnection with self, others, and nature. It is my honor to accompany you on your path.

With Love,

Erin
